I plan on doing it again now that I have an idea of how to do it but I was taking a couple of days off lol it was exhausting Agar vs Carrageenan, both food gums are extracts from seaweed, but they have many differences. I’d give you the recipe but I don’t have one I was just winging i was on batch 11 of day two trying to make a vegan gummy and I don’t have exact measurements currently Wondergel from our R&D lab serves as the ultimate alternative.

I have however found you can make vegan gummy’s that have a nice gummy type texture using a smidge and I mean a smidge of agar agar and like a Asian jelly mix you can find ones that are plant based usually made from a root of a plant and also you must use something like arrowroot powder or like tapioca starch otherwise things go more to the liquid side and if you use more agar agar they get that nasty tough consistency that seems to come with using agar agar Spreadable Agar Agar (Wondergel) A perfect substitute to Gelatin and Pectin. I am going to have to give that try thou. The one thing I haven’t tried using is pectin. Until such immunity has developed the disease will continue its course irrespective of the character of the diet. I can honestly say gummy’s made with mostly agar agar are the WORST 🤮 I wanted to get the consistency down before wasting flavor and medication Here's my quick rundown: -gelatin is the easiest and most forgiving though getting the right ratio based on how soft/firm you want it can get tricky -pectin returns my favorite texture but it is a little pickier to work with (though not nearly as hard as people make it out to be). I’ve tried making vegan gummy’s 11 batches non medicated no flavor all with different amounts of agar agar and several different things added. I've used gelatin, pectin, and agar agar.
